Our Practice
Cosmic Creation is a Maine-based collective weaving dance, fire, aerial, and ritual into a single performance practice. We perform across Oxford Hills and Auburn, host workshops and classes, and gather community around movement.
Dance
Bellydance, tribal, and ecstatic forms — language without words. We treat dance as the original conversation: between rhythm and breath, between ground and sky.

Bellydance, tribal, and contemporary forms woven into a sensual, grounded style. Built on rhythm, layered with intention — solo or ensemble.
Aerial Silk
Graceful, gravity-defying flight
Movement suspended on silks: drops, climbs, and slow unwinds. Choreographed for theater stages, festivals, and intimate venues alike.
Aerial Lyra
Sculptural movement on the hoop
Strength and shape on the lyra (aerial hoop). Sculptural, balletic, and quietly powerful.
Fire Poi
Spinning flame in motion
Tethered fire poi — flame in motion, choreographed to music or improvised live. Ideal for outdoor evening events.
Fire Staff
Elemental mastery
Bo staff and double staff with flame. Bold, grounded, and percussive — the most physically theatrical of our fire offerings.
Fire Hoop
Dance inside a ring of flame
Hula hoop meets flame-spinning. Hypnotic, flowing, and crowd-friendly — works as a centerpiece or a moving lead-in.
